# Google Calendar

> Let the AI agent find free times and book, move and cancel appointments in your Google Calendar.

When you connect Google Calendar, the WingUp agent checks your calendar for free times and books, moves and
cancels appointments in it. The events in that calendar also show in **Bookings** in the WingUp app.

## Adding the connection

**1. Open Connections**

In the WingUp app, go to **Connections** and open **Google Calendar**.

**2. Connect**

Press **Connect with Google Calendar**, and pick the Google account that holds the business's calendar.

**3. Allow both permissions**

On Google's screen, tick both calendar permissions and press **Continue**.

**4. Pick the calendar**

Back in WingUp, choose the calendar the agent books into. You can also give each staff member their own
calendar.

> [!WARNING]
>
> Leave both permissions ticked on Google's screen. Without both, the agent cannot check free times or book.

## What WingUp can see and do

* **Reads** free and busy times, and the events of the calendar you picked.
* **Writes** only the appointments the agent books, moves or cancels.

## Video meetings

To give every appointment a Zoom meeting, connect [Zoom](https://docs.wingup.ai/integrations/zoom.md) and choose **A Zoom meeting** in
the calendar settings.

## Removing the connection

* **In WingUp:** **Connections** → **Google Calendar** → **Disconnect**. WingUp revokes its access at Google.
* **In Google:** you can also remove WingUp at
  [myaccount.google.com/permissions](https://myaccount.google.com/permissions).

Appointments already in your calendar stay there.
