# Zoom

> Give every appointment your AI agent books a Zoom meeting, with the link in your calendar.

With the Zoom app, every appointment the WingUp agent books gets a Zoom meeting in your Zoom account. The join
link goes into the calendar event. When the customer moves the appointment, the meeting moves. When they cancel,
the meeting is deleted.

## Before you start

* A WingUp Business account, as the business owner.
* A connected calendar: [Google Calendar](https://docs.wingup.ai/integrations/google-calendar.md) or
  [Outlook Calendar](https://docs.wingup.ai/integrations/outlook-calendar.md).
* A Zoom account for the business. The meetings are made in the account you connect.

## Adding the app

**1. Open Connections**

In the WingUp app, go to **Connections** and open **Zoom**.

**2. Connect**

Press **Connect**. Sign in to the business's Zoom account and press **Allow**.

**3. Turn it on for bookings**

On the same page, open your calendar (**Google Calendar** or **Outlook Calendar**). Under
**A video meeting for every booking**, choose **A Zoom meeting**, and press **Save**.

> Connect the business's Zoom account, not a private one. The meetings and their links come from the account you
> connect.

## Using the app

You do not need to do anything after setup:

* **A new appointment** gets a Zoom meeting. The link is in the calendar event.
* **A moved appointment** moves its Zoom meeting. The link stays the same.
* **A cancelled appointment** deletes its Zoom meeting.

Every meeting has a waiting room, and participants join muted.

If Zoom does not answer when the agent books, the appointment is still booked, without a Zoom link. You can add a
link by hand in your calendar.

## What WingUp can see and do

| WingUp can | WingUp never |

| Create a meeting for an appointment it books | Read your recordings |
| Move that meeting when the appointment moves | Read your chats |
| Delete that meeting when the appointment is cancelled | Touch your other meetings |
| See your Zoom account's name and email | Join or record a meeting |

Permissions WingUp asks for: `meeting:write:meeting`, `meeting:update:meeting`, `meeting:delete:meeting`,
`user:read:user`.

## Removing the app

You can remove it in WingUp or in Zoom. Either way, WingUp deletes its Zoom tokens at once.

* **In WingUp:** **Connections** → **Zoom** → **Disconnect**.
* **In Zoom:** sign in at [marketplace.zoom.us](https://marketplace.zoom.us), go to **Manage** → **Added Apps**,
  find **WingUp Business**, and press **Remove**.

Meetings that were already made stay in your Zoom account. New appointments are booked without a Zoom link.
