When you connect Outlook Calendar, the WingUp agent checks your calendar for free times and books, moves and cancels appointments in it. The events in that calendar also show in Bookings in the WingUp app. It works with Microsoft 365 (work or school) accounts and with personal Outlook.com accounts.

Adding the connection

1

Open Connections

In the WingUp app, go to Connections and open Outlook Calendar.
2

Connect

Press Connect. Pick the Microsoft account that holds the business’s calendar, and press Accept.
3

Pick the calendar

Back in WingUp, choose the calendar the agent books into. You can also give each staff member their own calendar.
“Need admin approval”? In a company account, the IT admin may have to approve new apps. Ask your admin to approve WingUp, then connect again.

What WingUp can see and do

  • Reads free and busy times, and the events of the calendar you picked.
  • Writes only the appointments the agent books, moves or cancels.
Permission WingUp asks for: Calendars.ReadWrite (plus your name and email to show which account is connected).

Video meetings

To give every appointment a Zoom meeting, connect Zoom and choose A Zoom meeting in the calendar settings.

Removing the connection

  • In WingUp: Connections → Outlook Calendar → Disconnect. WingUp deletes its tokens at once.
  • In Microsoft: you can also remove WingUp from your account’s app permissions (myapps.microsoft.com for work accounts, account.live.com/consent/Manage for personal accounts).
Appointments already in your calendar stay there.
